ONOCOLOGY IN THE BIOMARKER ERA,
Biology – Diagnostics – Therapy
With the theme ‘Oncology in the Biomarker Era: Biology – Diagnostics – Therapy’, the Congress links all fields of cancer research and oncology. The fascinating world of biomarkers is where scientists, laboratory medicine specialists and clinicians meet. Biomarkers hold out promise for improving the clinical outcomes of cancer patients. For this reason, the theme challenges us to translate new findings into clinical practice, and invites interdisciplinary and innovatory approaches.
The latest findings in cancer research, diagnosis and clinical oncology will also be given a platform in an exhibition, with a varied range of commercial exhibitors, together with research and oncology-related organisations, all showcasing their products and services.
The participants will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise in an international forum, to engage in collaboration, to meet with friends and colleagues from all over the world, and to hear lectures delivered by prominent leaders in the field of Cancer Research, Oncology and Biomarkers.
The prestigious ABBOTT Award and 5 Young Investigators Awards will be presented during the Congress.
Finally, in addition to what is certain to be a stimulating Congress program, participants will also be able to take advantage of exciting social activities. Zakopane, the Congress site, is a beautiful and well-known Polish Tatra mountain resort, renowned for its unique architectural style and for the hospitality of the locals. It is located 100 km south from Kraków (Cracow), the capital of Poland until the XVIth century, with a magnificent Royal Castle and one of the oldest universities in Europe.
